Books for Kids 2-3 years of age

The best gift that you can gift to your kids are the books. The earlier you inculcate the love for books the better it is. I still remember my first book of fairy tales. books became my best friend after I read Enid Blyton's Mallory Towers when I was 12 years old and my first classic read was A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. After that there was  no looking back. For my son also, I started reading when he was a few months old.He loves books, touchwood. He is 3.5 years old now, I hope his love for books keeps growing. I have already shared books for kids 0-12 months of age ( here ) and books for kids 1-2 years of age (here )

Once kids turn 2, their attention span increases and they can sit through a story without getting distracted.

I am sharing some of our favourite books for 2-3 years of age.

📚Ladybird level 1 books and early scholastic readers have some wonderful books. You can buy the whole set of books or choose and buy a few titles which you like.

📚Who doesn't love The Guffalo and The Tiger who came to tea ? Julia Donaldson and Judith Kerr are all time kids favourite authors.

📚Early phonics story books Level 1 are perfect for kids this age.

📚How can I forget Peppa Pig and Mr. Men? No matter how many times you read these books to your child, he will always want to read again!

📚Another favourite characters of kids are Pepper and Bubbles.

📚2-3 years is also a good age to introduce the concept of opposites and numbers. You get wonderful books on this subject too

📚Usborne early readers are a must have for all kids 2+.

📚Oxford University press and DK publishers have some amazing titles for kids 2-3 years of age.
